QuickStart UK Terms and Conditions

Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully. By accessing the QuickStart UK CSCS Test Booking website at www.quickstartuk.com you are agreeing to the terms that appear below, whether or not you register as a user.

1. Descriptions

“We”, “Us” or “Our” will be used in the Terms and Conditions instead of QuickStart UK. We are providing assistance in booking Health and Safety Test and applying for CSCS cards. We are also offering Health and Safety training services. CSCS scheme is owned by Construction Skills Certification Scheme. You can find more information about them by visiting their website at http://www.cscs.uk.com.

"You, Your" means the candidate, employer or company who applies with QuickStart UK.

"Test" means any type of Health and Safety test.

2. Payment:

We accept payment by credit/debit cards over the phone or online on our website. Please note all services are prepaid. No payment will be deemed to have been received until QuickStart UK has received cleared funds. When you are making the payment over the phone you must provide all credit/debit card details required to our representative. You can also pay with a bank transfer or cash in our office.

 3. Prices:

Health and Safety test booking fee £45 includes standard course fee (£17.50) & admin charge £27.50. CSCS card assistance includes standard fee (£30.00) & admin charge £10.00. Revision Health and Safety book costs £17 and the CD-ROM £17. QuickStartUK may change this prices at any time.

4. Post delivery:

QuickStartUK will post all mail by recorded delivery. 6 GBP surcharge incurs where mail is to be sent abroad. Approximate delivery periods are: between 3 and 5 working days* within the UK and between 10 and 12 days* international - these are estimates only.
*QuickStart UK bares no responsibility in case the delivery company fails to deliver the revision materials or if any delays in the delivery are caused.

5. Booking Policy:

Please call us on 0207 659 9196 to check the availability in your area. We will need to take personal information over the phone to schedule appointment for Health and Safety Test for You. Please have your credit/debit card handy to make payment. Once the booking is done you will receive a confirmation via email of the CSCS test centre address, date and time of your appointment. You will also be advised which ID You will need to bring with You.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling:

In the event of cancellation within 5 clear working days for an appointment - £25 cancellation charge will apply to cover for the expenses we have incurred in making your appointment. Cancellation fee of 20 GBP applies, if you decide to cancel the service in the same day of the purchase. QuickStart UK will not issue refund for missed appointments for a Health and Safety Test. QuickStart UK will, however, offer the opportunity of a new appointment to the client. The rebooking fee is 35 GBP. In the event that a client fails the Health and Safety test there is no refund due for the service. Should a client fail their Health and Safety test a new appointment will be booked for a second chance test. The clients will need to pay QuickStart UK £35 for every additional test they need to book to complete the service. CSCS card application assistance is not refundable service. QuickStart UK is not responsible for any failure and no refund is due when: The customer has provided information which is false, inaccurate, incorrect, insufficient or misleading in any way. The customer has arranged by himself/herself or with any other company/institution the service/good purchased through QuickStart UK. The customer has already applied for the same service purchased through QuickStart UK, either directly or through another person, natural or legal.

7. Other:

• Please note that the calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes.
• We may disclose your personal data to third parties (including our service providers or agents) for the purposes outlined above, but we will not otherwise pass your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. If we transfer your information to a third party we will make sure they agree to apply the same levels of protection as we are required to apply to information held and that they use your information only for the purposes outlined above.
• If you give us information about another person, you hereby confirm that the other person has appointed you to act on his/her behalf and has agreed that you can give consent on his/her behalf to the processing of his/her personal data.
• These Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
• Should the customer at any time like to query the quality of service delivered, he/she is invited to email us at info@construction-support.co.uk. We will guarantee that the email will be replied to within 48 hours.
